Deep in the forest, Oberon 和 Tytania, the fairy king 和 queen, are quarreling. Oberon enlists his henchman Puck to find a magic plant 和 cast a spell on Tytania. 与此同时, four Athenian lovers run away to the forest, 和 they are quickly entwined in Puck’s trickery. 

Join Lamont Opera Theatre 和 Lamont Symphony Orchestra performers for magic, 恶作剧, 浪漫, 和 sheer enchantment in Benjamin Britten’s setting of Shakespeare’s classic comedy.

For this new production, Matthew Plenk is the artistic 和 stage director. Sahar Nouri is the music director 和 conductor. Scenic design by Matthew S. Crane, with construction by the DU Theater Scene Shop. Costumes are designed by Delcinea Lutes 和 Myrna Schulte. Lighting design is by Henry Award winner Emily Maddox.
